Heather McSwiggin LMT
Hi, I’m Heather and I have been practicing licensed massage therapy since graduating from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in 2004. I am licensed in Iowa and am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
As long as I can remember, I have always been that kid rubbing my mom’s or sister’s shoulders when she sat on the floor in front of me. As I got older it was all my friends as well and they all always seemed to feel better when I was done. So when the opportunity presented itself to go to massage school I jumped at it. It’s such an amazing gift to be able to give someone the chance to feel/sleep/walk/breathe better when they leave my room. This is definitely what I am supposed to be doing with my life and I am honored to be part of such an amazing group of people here.
My passion and bliss is for the Ashiatsu massage. It’s such an amazing service. I also offer Swedish Relaxation for those who just need to melt into the table for an hour or so. The pregnancy massage is a great way for ‘Moms to be’ to relax face down for an hour! I can also incorporate aromatherapy into all the massages I offer as well.
